Project Description
Engenuity Group, Inc. prepared the contract documents, administered bidding, observed construction, and administered the construction contract for replacement of two of the 5 diesel engines that run the pumps. The engines were 450 horsepower, 6 cylinder, with 855 cubic inches of displacement. The transmissions and keel coolers were also replaced. Keel coolers are submerged and are cooled by the water as opposed to a radiator that is cooled by air. The construction cost was $358,857.
